Heat the oven to 175°C and line a 20cm square tin.

Melt chocolate and butter together, then whisk in sugar.

Add eggs one at a time until the mixture looks glossy.

Fold in flour, cocoa and salt; spread into the tin.

Bake 24–28 minutes until the edges set but the centre remains soft; cool fully.

A few moist crumbs on the skewer mean the brownies will stay fudgy.
